Honey Singh, better known by his stage name Yo Yo Honey Singh, is an Indian rapper, music producer, singer and film actor. He was earlier a recording artist and later became a Bhangra producer. Soon he started getting offers from Bollywood and composed music for many Bollywood movies and rapped famous songs and became Bollywood's most expensive music producer. His dream is to one day bring him a Grammy Award win for the country.

He has been paid 7 million for singing a song in the film 'Mustan', which is the highest amount ever paid to any singer in Bollywood. The song Angrezi Beat sung by him has also been featured in Saif Ali Khan's film Cocktail.
She gained more fame and popularity towards the end of 2013 when she got a chance to sing in big budget Bollywood movies like 'Chennai Express' and Boss. His lungi dance went on the tongue of the people. She also worked with Amitabh Bachchan and sang in the film 'Bhootnath Returns'. His songs sung in small budget films like Mere Dad Ki Maruti, Bajate Raho and Fugly also became quite popular. He suddenly disappeared from Bollywood in 2014 and did not give any kind of music for months. There were many speculations about his disappearance but they were all mostly fake as when he came to the fore in 2016, it was found that he was not coming out due to an illness.
Have tried hands in acting-
He started his acting career with the Punjabi film Mirza. He had only a cameo appearance in the film but for this he received the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Male Debut. After this he appeared in another Punjabi comedy film 'Tu Mera 22 Main Tera 22'. This was his first film as a lead role.
She made her acting debut in Bollywood films with the film 'The Xpose' but the film could not do much at the box office.
Honey is also related to controversies-
The lyrics of some of his songs also landed him in controversies. Some organizations found the lyrics of his songs quite violent and they even got an FIR against Honey. Honey later clarified that the lyrics of this song were not written by him. On 4 August 2013, the Punjab and Haryana court dismissed the trial against him alleging that he sang a rapist song. The court said that there is no evidence that the song has been sung by Honey Singh and YouTube is a medium where anyone can put any type of content under any name. After this, the controversy has also deepened over his song Party All Night, sung in the film Boss as well.
